Change Details - MOHr
Revised Category Approach (North and South America)
In April last year, European Monster sites adopted a new occupation-based approach to ensure a better match for employers and job-seekers. On 12th January 2008, North and South America come into line with this approach.
If you are posting jobs and searching for CVs internationally in these locations your process will be simplified. You will no longer see the “show other locations” button when posting jobs to North and South American locations, as all locations will be presented on the search page. When searching for CVs you will no longer need to set separate search agents for American and European locations.
The list of locations shown will be those applicable to the country of the Monster site that you are using: if you log into Monster.co.uk, you will see a list of UK locations, and Monster.ie recruiters will see a list of Ireland locations. Note: If you select a particular inventory type (e.g. Canada inventory on the UK site), then the list of locations will default to Canadian locations.
You will be able to access all of Monster’s other locations via the “International” and “Europe” tabs.
Previously, switching between lists of locations was conducted through the link “Show other locations”.
