Monster Apply History
For anyone who is hunting for a new job, managing your applications can be a tricky process with countless things to worry about. Has the company actually received your application? Which CV did you send to which employer? What’s the name of the interviewer? How do I get to their offices?
Well worry no more. With Monster’s new Application Progress feature you’ll be able to answer all these questions and more from one easy-to-use page.
How do I find this new feature?
From within your My Monster homepage. Simply select ‘Apply History’ and you’ll find the details of every job you’ve applied for on Monster.
Couldn’t I already do that?
Yes, but there’s now so much more on offer. Firstly you’ll see the option to filter the jobs by ‘applied date’ and ‘current progress’. This progress tag is one which you can attribute to each job with choices ranging from ‘Received call from employer’ right through to ‘Accepted offer’.
Next to each job you’ll also find a link to the job description, the CV you submitted and a handy ‘status’ indicator, showing you whether the employer has received and viewed your application.
Is there anything else I can so?
There certainly is. You can add notes and links to the jobs you’ve applied for, so whether you want to jot down the date and time of an interview or link to directions of how to get there, it can all be kept in one handy location. You may also choose to add links to research about the company or an article on interview tips from our Career Advice zone to help you prepare for the big day.
Sounds great, how do I set it up?
There’s no need for you to do anything but apply for the jobs you want. Every application is added to your ‘Apply History’ list and you can remove any which have expired or leave them there for future reference.
So essentially it’s a one-stop-shop for career management?
You got it!
